Casie Simpson is currently creative director at the Milwaukee Art Museum, where she has lead a team of five and contributed on the Senior Management Team since signing on in 2017. Her team produces collateral for key initiatives across the Museum—including three rotating exhibition spaces, the Collection, events, institutional advertising, development and membership campaigns, curatorial catalogs, digital offerings, and wayfinding.
At the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville, Casie designed a new identity and website for the Museum in 2016. She oversaw the institution's look and feel and user experience, including video production, storytelling, monumental wall graphics, and cutting-edge invitations from 2012–2016. Casie holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. She has been recognized by Print Magazine, the Southeastern Museums Conference, and Sappi Paper.
Casie got her start at the boutique marketing agency closerlook, inc. in Chicago. Some distinguished brands she has worked with include Accenture, Kodak, and Medtronic. After relocating to Florida, she began her own business, keeping many Chicago clients and gaining others from Jacksonville and New York.
She currently resides in the Walker’s Point neighborhood of Milwaukee. When not behind a screen, you'll find her indulging in outdoor adventures, baking pure deliciousness, or visiting new places. Casie looks forward to relocating to Colorado in August, 2019.
